Pensão Amor is located in the district of Cais do Sodre, once the haunt of drunken sailors and a seedy past. Now however, this district has embraced change and is a bustling area of Lisbon which is welcoming to everyone.

Pensão Amor is for night owls, the clientele is diverse and the bar has an alternative atmosphere. The front lounge has a decadent feel to it, laid out in red and gold furnishings, upholstered arm chairs and dim lamp lit corners. Once a bordello, this bar maintains an edgy persona throughout and although inoffensive, it is definitely not for conservative thinking.
