As the name suggests this wine bar is set in an old pharmacy and the owner, Jorge, has maintained the original cabinets which once housed medical supplies and replaced medicines to dispense over 350 different bottles of Portuguese wines instead.

The extensive list of wines is broken out by the different regions in Portugal and you can sample the wines by the bottle or glass. Don't be overwhelmed, both Jorge and his manager Roger are there to help you choose and you can rest assured that you will not be drinking something that does not suit your palate.

If you are feeling peckish there is also a lovely choice of cheese and meats or why not try the chorizo sausage, flame cooked in front of you.
