Ibo Restaurante

Mozambique Seafood on the bank of the River Tagus

Ibo boasts some of the best seafood in Lisbon and if you intend to visit at the weekend, then I suggest that you book a table at Ibo prior to travel.

Ibo restaurant is a nod to Portugal’s colonial past and the mix of cuisine from Mozambique and Goa is exceptional. With Lisbon’s fish market only across the street this seafood restaurant only prepares the freshest of dishes. The prawns are so large that it’s easy to confuse them with a lobsters so beware if you think that they are a tasty little starter! If you’re looking for a main course that’s too big for your eyes, then the crayfish is for you.

Ibo is located at Cais do Sodre, in a popular area on the banks of the river Tagus. There is a great bar next door for a pre dinner cocktail, it’s called Vestigus.
